Glances and Nile´s Treasures were performed by Stephen Kipreos; Natures was done by Elaine Shemilt and Stephen Kipreos. In all cases each collection is preceded by commentator about and an author´s photo, and the e-mail, and at the bottom with photo and e-mail of the promoter.
GLANCES
The collection Glances seeks to search inside of each one of the models have been photographed; they are beings uniques and they were taken, besides, in an unique moment without repetition of their lives.
Eyes are the mirror of the soul…, if it´s true who looks at them, will be able to appreciate states of their minds, feelings that live inside them.
Are all human stereotypes encompassed by these patterns?
Glances offers to the spectator the possibility of striking up a quiet dialogue with the models, but dialogue in any case, imaging what hid their souls, what were thinking these fellows at that moment.
Doubtless glances bear a psychological weight is possible to match with the writing, but the glance shows a peculiarity with respect to it, shows the flame that burns in all human beings.
To fancy the collection Glances, I was inspired by Francisco de Goya y Lucientes since he knew the powerful effect of the glance in the facing expression of his models, so he depicted of 13 millimetres as human iris diameter instead of 11 millimetres that is the normal size of human iris. This gap allowed him to give the depth expression at the faces of his models, so outstanding in his pictures.
But, there is another thing of remarking: eyes reflect what happens in front of the pattern. So, I´ve remembered The lesson of music by Jan Vermeer (Royal Collection, Buckingham Palace, London) and the mirror´s effect.
Felix Nadar, the great French photographer said: To photograph is to depict with the light.
Perhaps, perhaps... we have gotten to depict the soul of our models.

NATURES
Professor Elaine Shemilt did two trips to South Atlantic: on 2001 and 2009. Here are showed her collection of photos were taken by her during 2009 in South Georgia. Engineer Stephen Kipreos did three trips to Africa for doing tracks during 2005 (Tanzania), 2008(South Africa) and 2010(Kenya). Most of his photos were taken at the National Parks of these countries.

Nile´s Treasures
During 2005, Stephen Kipreos did a voyage by Egypt, visiting amazing places,
from the arqueological point of view.
Here will be showed photographs of Cairo, the Pyramids, the Sphinx, Luxor,
Karnak,Edfu Temple, Philae Temple,Kom-Ombo Temple,Hatshepsut Temple,
Abu Simbel , Memphis, The Valley of the Kings and The Valley of the
Queens.
